Tinos is accessible by ferry from Athens or Mykonos. You'll arrive in the main town, about 10 mins walk from the centre of town and from our hotel. Car rentals are available from opposite the port.

The ferry may stop at other destinations before or after Tinos so be ready to disembark quickly when you hear your stop!

Athens:

Fast ferries go from Rafina. The only way to get there is by taxi, which takes about 45 mins from central Athens or 25 mins from the airport. Use the app "Freenow" instead of Uber to get a cheaper ride. Aim to arrive minimum 30 mins before - and get straight on your ferry. The shortest ferry from here is about 1.5 hours.

Slower ferries go from Piraeus port - this is a much bigger and more confusing port so give yourself much more time to find the correct dock (it should say on your ticket and you can sometimes input this straight into the app if you're getting a taxi). You can also take the metro down there, which can be quicker if the traffic is bad.

Mykonos:

There are direct flights to Mykonos from Luton and Gatwick on 1 October. From the island, its a short 30 minute ferry ride to Tinos.

The Central & Southern Cyclades (Daily or near-daily connections):

Paros (from 1 hour 5 mins), Naxos (from 1 hour 15 mins), Ios (from 2.5 hours), and Santorini (from 3 hours).

The Western Cyclades (Weekly connections):

Direct routes to Kea, Kythnos, and Milos are still running, but they operate on a much lighter frequency.
